Burkina-Faso




Burkina-Faso is a state in the West Africa. On the North the country boarders Mali, on the East -Niger, on the South -Benin, Togo, Ghana and Kot-Divuar. The area of the country is 274200 sq.km. The official language is French.

The main part of the country is the wavy Plato Mossy. The climate of the country is subequatorial. Heat in April reaches 41-45°C but rainy season comes in May that Atlantic monsoon brings. The fauna is rather variable. Animal world is also very rich. There are many elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippopotamuses, wild cats, various monkeys; reptiles, birds.

The population of the country is about 9,8 millions people and variable in its ethnic group. Ouagadougou is the capital and the largest town.
