Ghana




Ghana is a state in the West Africa. To the North-West it borders Burkina-Faso, to the East -Togo, on the West -Kot-Divuar. The Southern part is washed by the Atlantic ocean. The official language is English.

The main rivers are: Black Wolta, White Wolta, Wolta. The climate is equatorial with temperatures 23-27 °C. The main part of the fauna had been destroyed however there are saved forests with red trees, cotton trees. Savanna occupies the significant territory and is almost entirely covered with grass and rare trees. Among the animals there are leopards, hyenas, buffaloes, elephants, monkeys. As for reptiles there are adder and other snakes.

The population of the country counts more than 18 million people. Religion: Heathens - 38%, Muslims - 30%, Christians - 24%. The capital is Akkra.
