Morocco Morocco is a state on the West of the North Africa. On the East and South-East it borders Algiers. On the North it is washed by Mediterranean sea, on the West - by the Atlantic ocean. The state language is Arabic. On the Mediterranean cost the climate of the country is soft, subtropical with the average temperature about 20°C. Further to the South the climate is more continental with hot summer and cool winter. The fauna of the country is rather various and includes as representatives of European species: fox, hare, squirrel, so African ones: gazelle, wild goat, pantera. Ethnic groups are: Arabians and Berbers - 99.1%, Europeans - 0.7%, Jews - 0.2%. The population of the country counts 30 million people. Religion: Muslims - 98.7% (Islam is a state religion of Morocco), Christians - 1.1%, Judaics - 0.2%. Monetary unit is Dihram. Morocco is a member of OUN, ICF, Organization of the African Unit, League of Arabic countries. The capital is Rabat. Morocco (MAP 100 KB)
