SAR SAR is a state on the South of Africa. On the North it borders Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique. In the East and South it's washed by the Indian ocean, on the West - the Atlantic ocean. The country occupies 1223201 sq.km. The main rivers are Orange, Vaal, Limpopo. The climate of the country is soft and moderate. Rainy season lasts from October till April; on the cost of the Atlantic ocean - from June till September. The average temperature of January is about 23 C; of July - is about 16 C. The fauna is quite rich: lions, elephants, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas. The population of the country counts about 42834500 people. Ethnic groups: Africans - 75,2%, white - 13.6%, Indians - 2.6%. Religion: Christians and basically protestants. Among many languages the population speaks also English. Monetary unit - South-African Rand. The country is a member of OUN, British Community of Nations. It has three capitals: Pretoria (administrative), Capetown (legislative), Bloemfontein (judicial).
