Zambia




Zambia is a state in the Central Africa and occupies 752,6 thousand sq.km. The country is a member of the British Community. The official language is English.

The main sightseeing of the country is the famous giant waterfall Victoria with a height of 120 m. It's situated on the Zambezi near Livingston town. The climate of the country is subequatorial with three seasons: rainy and warm (November-April), dry and cool (May-July), hot and dry (August-October). Average temperatures are 15°C in July, 27 °C in October. Among big animals there are: rhinoceroses, elephants, hippopotamuses, zebras, giraffes, lions, antelopes.

The population counts about 8,5 million people that grows fast. Religion: basically Christians, however the majority keeps to independent churches; there are also Muslims, Heathens. The capital is Lusaka.
